DAY 31: dAY OFF - Capital of Manitoba
Errands as always - even Jennica's course enrollement appointment magically ended up on a day with a computer accessible.
I saw my friend Coral from Canada World Youth that I haven't seen in over a year and a half - it was so awesome to see her, just wish it could have been longer
The team met up for the afternoon at MEC (as always- they even have a compostable toilet! so exciting) to head over the famous historic "Forks". This little district is very similar to Granville Island with a number of ecclectic stores, eating venues and gardens.
We are now getting ready to celebrate KLARA'S birthday tonight at a Thai restaurant ( I have convinced everyone that we need to eat ethnic as we won't see much more before Ottawa).
A Special thank you to John and Elaine, and their daughters, Tammy and Jillian, for their wonderful hospitality and opening up their home to us for two nights!
