Day 27: Wolsely to Moosomin

Distance: 130km

Changing our clocks ahead to Manitoba time, we set off this morning trying to reach the Manitoba border. Mother Nature was not with us however and again we had a tough time with headwinds and crosswinds. After a lunch in Broadview where we met people from Cranbrook (who knew Lynn and Steve, the people we stayed with!), we kept going, stopping in Moosomin for dinner and camping, just 30km shy of the border.

This evening, we were blessed with the kindness from strangers as the owners of the Prairie Pride Motel allowed us to camp in their back yard. A warm thank-you to the Prairie Pride Motel!!!

As we went to bed, we saw another Prairie thunderstorm (but this time in the distance).
