Day 47: Bum sores and leg rest in the SOO

Zero kilometers except Alisha who biked about 5km to get her bike to and from the bike store!

A special thank you to Jeannie and Bob Fremlin who have opened their house to us for two nights, offering all that we need! Their sons even gave up their room and slept in a tent for us!

Movie Matinee : Click with Adam Sandler. Dylan and Wyatt, the kids of Jeannie and Bob joined us for a relaxing afternoon - worked out well as it was a rainy afternoon!

Laundry of course, emails and blogs, maybe a few postcards and phone calls?

Glad Bob, Jeannie, Dylan and Wyatt were able to take you in! Hope you enjoy the rest of your journey!

Can't wait to hear stories and see pictures once we're all back on the west coast!

Hi Superteam!!!! Oh Canada!!! A chance to see the Capital!!! so great that you could see so much of what Ottawa is all about! I'm also so happy that you have had a chance to meet more relatives! My auntie Lyndall and uncle Stan I know have been very welcoming and fun to be with! Nothing like family is there? we think you made a good decision to skip riding that long part of northern Ontario. If you're running out of time, best to see the maritines instead! I'm jealous as the maritimes have always been a favourite place for me. Enjoy Montreal, Jen, you'll have a chance to be an interpretor!
dad is paddling the fraser today( I took a van load of people to Hope today) and Barb and I have been riding. A bit cooler with threats of showers for tomorrow. Love you all, Safe biking!!! love mom/rita

it was too bad you couldn't spend time with Aunt Nicola since she was so looking forward to hosting your group.
I know she was disappointed.

Hope you enjoy the rest of your trip.Safe cycling.
